PEACENETS Programmatic Approach
At PEACENETS, we believe in building peaceful, resilient communities by delivering integrated, sustainable, and community-based activities. Our multi-sectoral approach leverages on local capacities, fosters equity and inclusion, and ensures that services across Health (including Nutrition and Reproductive Health), Protection, Education, WASH, and Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL) are accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable.

PEACENETS works to ensure every individual especially women, children, and adolescents has access to quality health care. By strengthening primary health systems and supporting community-based health workers, we provide integrated services including immunization, maternal care, family planning, and treatment of malnutrition. Our nutrition programming promotes Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM), and micronutrient supplementation, utilizing locally available foods and peer support groups. We train local providers to deliver adolescent-friendly and gender-sensitive reproductive health services. Outreach, mobile clinics, and digital health platforms help extend access while ensuring real-time feedback and accountability

PEACENETS embeds protection across all our programming. We work with community structures to identify risks, prevent violence, and support survivors, particularly women, children, and marginalized groups. Through child-friendly spaces, psychosocial support (PSS), and community-led protection committees, we promote safety, dignity, and wellbeing. Our programs support GBV case management, legal aid referrals, and reintegration of vulnerable children, including unaccompanied minors. We train local actors on safeguarding, rights-based approaches, and accountability, ensuring protection is mainstreamed across education, health, and livelihoods interventions.

Our education programs are rooted in the belief that learning is a right and a foundation for peace. We promote inclusive access to quality education by rehabilitating classrooms, training community-based teachers, and providing school supplies. We deliver accelerated learning and non-formal education for children who are out of school or displaced, while embedding social-emotional learning and life skills that build resilience. We empower youth and women through vocational training, digital literacy, and civic engagement initiatives, fostering leadership and active citizenship. PEACENETS integrates environmental education, human rights awareness, and peacebuilding into the curriculum to create change agents for tomorrow.
